About the role

As part of our growth here at TAC Healthcare, we are looking for an Occupational Health Screening Technician to join our team in the Midlands, on a full-time permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to deliver a comprehensive and evidence based Occupational Health surveillance and screening service.

This key role requires you to hold a driving licence, allowing you to drive the screening van. The van will be based in the Midlands, and will cover client sites, in Banbury, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.  

Do you have experience working in a healthcare environment and interacting with the general public? Most important of all, we’re looking for someone who’s flexible and highly motivated, with a calm and professional demeanour.

Are you quality orientated, with great patient care? Do you have previous experience within Occupational Health Screening? If so, we would love to hear from you!

What you will do:

  • Measuring and recording the following data; height, weight, BMI, peak flow, pulse, blood pressure, taking of bloods, vision screening, urinalysis, electrocardiography, spirometry, audiometry, drug testing, alcohol breath tests and fitness assessments.
  • Liaise with medical and administrative staff on matters of mutual relevance in performance of professional duties.
  • Ensure your medical room is stocked with the required consumables.
  • Conduct required calibrations and checks, on equipment.
  • Assist in administrative duties associated with patient care.

  • Previous experience working within a clinical environment.
