Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Executive to join our small marketing team and support the Head of Marketing and wider business.

The role will focus on internal and external communications, content creation, campaign coordination, social media, website content and the development of marketing materials across TAC Healthcare.

This is a hybrid role based in Aberdeen, requiring four days per week in the office during probation, reducing to three days per week following successful completion of the probationary period.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate internal and external communications, including colleague newsletters, client newsletters and the Wellbeing Monthly magazine.
  • Write, edit and proofread content for email campaigns, websites, social media, publications and marketing materials.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information and create engaging content.
  • Support recruitment advertising by listing vacancies on Indeed and the TAC careers website, promoting roles on LinkedIn, liaising with hiring managers and organising applications.
  • Champion and support the Employee Communication Forum (ECF), coordinating feedback, communications and colleague engagement.
  • Create and update marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, presentations, digital assets and campaign collateral.
  • Liaise with printers, suppliers and external partners to coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials.
  • Use platforms such as Mailchimp, MailerLite, Outlook, Buffer, Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud to deliver marketing activity.
  • Manage social media content, scheduling and contributions across relevant channels.
  • Support website content updates, blog development, SEO activity and content calendar management.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns by managing timelines, stakeholders and approved activity.
  • Support the planning and delivery of company events, wellbeing campaigns and conferences.
  • Produce video content, presentations and training materials for internal and client-facing use.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support campaign planning and business growth.
  • Support tenders, proposals and client-facing documents, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams, clients and external industry contacts.
  • Manage ad hoc communication requests across multiple channels.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and identify ways to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Provide flexible support across marketing, communications and related business activities as priorities and organisational needs evolve.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications or content role.
  • Strong writing, proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Experience creating content across digital and print channels.
  • Experience using email marketing and social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
  • Strong organisation and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Experience using Webflow or another website content management system is desirable.
  • Experience within healthcare or another regulated sector is desirable.
