‍About RISQS Accreditation

The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) serves as the certification authority for the Great British Rail Industry, providing assurance and supply chain risk management services for both buyers and suppliers. Registration or certification with RISQS demonstrates compliance with industry standards.

Being RISQS verified allows us to administer Network Rail Competence-Specific medical assessments, particularly the essential Personal Track Safety (PTS) evaluations, which can only be conducted by providers holding RISQS accreditation. The PTS medical assessments are designed to verify the physical capabilities of individuals in safety-critical roles, ensuring their reliability and safety while working on railway tracks. This is not only crucial for their own wellbeing but also for the safety of their colleagues and the public.‍
